We are so excited to announce that Russell, the electric giraffe will be at North County Mini Maker Faire! For those of you who are not familiar with Russell or the Electric Giraffe Project, he’s a pretty big deal in the maker community and we’re so fortunate that his home is here in San Diego. Russell’s creator, Lindsay Lawlor has been working on Russell for many years and has taken him to Bay Area Maker Faire for the last 11 years! You might even remember Russell and Lindsay a few years ago when they were at the White House Maker Faire!
Recently, Russell suffered a serious accident, but rest assure, Lindsay will have him up and running for North County Mini Maker Faire. Of course if you want to really get close and personal with Russell, then sign up to volunteer or showcase as a maker at North County Mini Maker Faire! As a volunteer or maker exhibitor at the event, you’ll get to camp and stay at the museum after the Faire ends on Saturday; which means you’ll get to camp and party with Russell on the campground. Can we say giraffe sleepover? 🙂
